Standard mSATA

mSATA is a miniature connection standard of SATA (mini SATA), which can be used to connect laptop Wifi cards or standard mSATA SSD hard drives. This standard supports transfer speeds up to 550 MB/s.
USB connection standard

Is the peripheral connection standard for most computers using the Windows operating system. This connection type has a maximum data transfer rate of up to 480 MB/s. With new generations of USB, the transfer speed can be up to tens of GB/s. The speed maintains a constant range of 10 – 30 MB/s, depending on various factors including the type of device, the data being transferred and the speed of the computer system.

4. Is it possible to change the hard drive slot?

Depending on the connection standard you want to convert, usually standard M.2 and mSATA hard drives can be converted to SATA 3 or USB thanks to the hard drive boxes so you can use them as removable hard drives. or plug in the available SATA 3 slots. However, connection standards such as SATA 3 or USB cannot be converted to M.2 or mSATA because their physical size is larger and the hard drive speed is not suitable for those connection slots.
